The young South Korean baritone Leo Hyunho Kim received his Bachelor’s degree at Kyungpook University in Daegu, South Korea. Since 2014 Mr. KIM has been living and working in Vienna, Austria where he studied opera, lied, and oratorio and voice performance at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Furthermore, he has participated in masterclass given by Leo
Nucci, Krassimira Stoyanova and Vittorio Terranova. In 2014, he received an 3.Prize at the
“International Antonín Dvořák Singing Competition” in Karlovy vary, Czech Repurblic.
In Summer 2018, he was a Scholar of "Mozart Residency - Académie du Festival d’Aix-en-provence. During his “International
Otto Edelmann Singing Competition” in Vienna in 2019, he was awarded the First Prize as well as
the WCN-Special Prize. Mr. Kim’s Credits include the title role in Eugene Onegin and Schaunard (La
Bohème), Counte Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Tonio (I Pagliacci), Publio (La clemenza di Tito),
Marco (Gianni Schicchi) Morales (Carmen).
